A murder mystery for y’all! This book was purchased on a whim from the back description and having read other AJ Finn murder mysteries. The writing style in the book take a little getting used to but I was engaged the entire book. The plot twist at the end caught me off guard but maybe for some of you it will so obvious. The basic gist is that a famous author of, can you guess it, murder mysteries is nearing the end of his life and wants to have a biography written about him. Over 30 years earlier he was accused of murdering his wife and child but was never convicted. The journalist brought in to write the authors memoir has obvious reasons to be intrigued in potentially solving the cold case. Finn did a great job of leading me down one train of thinking to back slap me later for thinking it could be solved so easily. For this book grab a Moonlit Desert mug topped off with some Tension Tamer tea so that maybe you can see through the tense parts of the book faster than I could!
