Are you looking for a wild science fiction ride into the distant future? Than I HIGHLY recommend this book. Randomly is was recommended to me by a stranger in line at the grocery store. He said it had 7 of the strongest female characters he’s ever read in a book. I was definitely skeptical hearing this from an old white man but also quite intrigued. I opted for audiobook and was quite entranced. The premise of the book is that an unknown object has hit the moon and it explodes into 7 pieces. Scientists very quickly ascertain that earth is going to experience massive downpour of debris from the moon pieces colliding into themselves. Which launches a project to safe the human race by getting folks to the space station and expanding it as much as possible before the world comes to an end. Stick through the Uber technical space details to experience the end that I wish had been 10x longer. This book is a fascinating take on humanity and the traits that we pass down generationally. I recommend pairing it with a fancy orange wine as they seem to be all sorts of trendy right now poured into a very trendy Vintage Floral wine tumbler.
