Recently turned into a pretty decent movie I found the book to by much better, as per usual. I will warn that if you are a person that needs answers to questions this is not the book for you. The premise of the book is a family is on vacation renting a gorgeous airbnb in the countryside outside of New York City. Late one night the owners of the home knock on the door saying something has happened in the city and they need to stay in their home. The owners are black, the vacationers are white. There are some definite racial stereotypes that go down as they all try to figure out exactly what is happening in the world. This is a quick book so pairing it with a simple glass of water in a tall Many Mountain Tumbler may help the more tense moments go down a little more smoothly.
