If you love Shakespeare this book is for you. If you despise Shakespeare stay away. If you are like me and are in the middle about Shakespeare then I would still say this is a great book if you also like murder mysteries. This book is set at a fictional Shakespearean conservatory. (A college that specializes in studying everything that goes into recreating a Shakespearean play, from the thespians to the stage hands.) One of the senior thespians is found dead near to graduation, a cohort is to blame and been in prison for years for the murder but the deceive in the case is still unsure oh what has truly happened. The accused is out on parole and the detective has retired so he begs for the truth. We are take. On a wild ride of youthful pride intertwined with so many quotes from Shakespeare it almost feels like you are learning a new language. I’d recommend filling a up a desert stein with plenty of ale as you read this one to truly start to understand some of Shakespeare’s words because he had to be a bit intoxicated to come up with some of his wild prose. Right?
