Hello Beautiful was a lovely humanist piece of fiction. A story about what it means to be loved for who you are not who you could be. There are call backs to Little Women throughout the book as four sisters bring a wayward young man into their loving household. A beautiful story of what depression can do to a person and how being loved because of it can make a world of difference for the person suffering. I quite enjoyed the character development and story telling that Napolitano weaves in this book. I would pair this book with a lovely glass of Italian wine served in a simple Desert Tumbler.
