Mad Honey is a lovely book intertwined from two women’s perspectives, a teenager and a mom. The mom is a bee keeper so the book is steeped in facts about honey bees. Like did you know bees can made hallucinogenic honey from the pollen of rhododendrons? It’s called Mad Honey the namesake for the book. The teenage girl’s world and her experiences are what center the entire book. I highly recommend sitting down with this book with an open mind and a large mug of chamomile tea served in a Moonlit Mountain Mug.
