Not going to lie I am a sucker for Steven King’s writing style. It’s dark and poignant and just well done. In this story line Holly is a private investigator hired by a missing woman’s mom who does not believe that her daughter ran away. Holly is a quirky character that doesn’t fit your standard thoughts of an investigator which endeared me to the book even more. This is a classic King novel though so be prepared for some dark and twisted aspects to the plot line. Since Cat Winder of Honeysuckle Handmade Studio recommended this book I’d pair it with a tasty old fashion (our favorite cocktail) in a Beaded Dreams Tumbler (our collab design!)
